Clarification Text on Security Cameras in Akkurtlar (Headquarters / Gebze Office / Istanbul European Office / İzmir Office)
This clarification text has been prepared, by Akkurtlar tourism as a data controller, in the scope of the Article 10 of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No.6698 and the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles for Fulfilling the Disclosure Obligation.
Ensuring the internal and external security of the building by means of a total of 30 security cameras located in the entrance-exit doors, exterior of the building, dining hall, visitor waiting room, floor corridors, activity areas and office areas in our headquarters, images are recorded in order to ensure technical and commercial-business security and the registration process is audited by the Administrative Affairs unit.
Likewise, in Izmir, Istanbul Europe, Istanbul Asia, Kocaeli and Manisa Branch offices, providing building security by means of cameras located in the entrances and exits, corridors and offices, image recording is made in order to ensure the legal, technical and commercial occupational safety of the Institution and the persons who are in business relations with the Institution. It is supervised by the affairs unit.
The personal data in question are automatically processed on the basis of the legal reason that "it is mandatory for the data controller to fulfill his legal obligation" and "data processing is mandatory for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data controller" in Article 5 of the Law. .
The personal data in question may be transferred to the judicial authorities or the relevant law enforcement officers upon request to resolve legal disputes or in accordance with the relevant legislation.
